lyrics

ORDINARY FOOL
---------------------

He fell in love with Mannie
The mannequin on 5th & Broadway
Couldn't speak...
It made things easier
To ignore what's in his head

He's searching public sympathy
From talk shows on TV
He's hooked for more
But what's it for?

That ordinary fool
That ordinary fool
Sleeps in a world within
And he believes everything he reads
He's lost his mind
I think he'll jump this time

He claims he found internal happy
Got himself an informercial selling it
For only twenty-nine, a measly ninety-nine
Jumping in for any movement
He'll protest for any group
To be correct, but what's it for?

That ordinary fool
Sleeps in a world within
And he believes everything he reads
He's lost his mind
I think he'll jump this time
But for the fool I need to stay
I'll give to one but it's not for sale

His mind's left empty
With just one chandelier for decor
Time to explore...

And I will never take back
Keep me precious and close
What I offered to you
I'm feeling safe with the sweet clever stare
Don't want to give in to this foolish ways
I ordered a fool
What's in it for me?
What a fool
Fool

about

Ondine Seattle, Washington

Ondine was my favorite 90s-era Seattle band that *almost* hit it big.

Ondine was: Luca Sacchetti (Vocals), Erik Castro (Guitar), Ray Zozaya (Bass), Jamil Hai and Mark Yeend (Drums).

Luca and Erik were kind enough to allow me to curate and host these albums for free download.

You had to see them live to really "get it", but it's great to make this music available after so long. Enjoy!
