DIRTY SHIRT IN A DEAD MAN'S CLOSET
------------------------------------------------

You stand before me like a matador waits for the kill
He's dressed in yellow it's the way that he feels standing still
My hands are sweaty, I'm feeling unsure with myself
I smell my fingers, there's something wrong with the fears
And I'm hoping for a peek at serenity
A part of me is over
A part of me is over

If I could kill my heard I know that I would
I'd never have to worry about being partially understood
And there's this boy he picks himself up off the ground
Just to throw himself back

And he's made to feel just like another clown
I feel crazy, I feel lazy, I feel crazy
With no love and no father
And I'm made to feel like a dirty shirt in a dead man's closet

Can't stop sipping coffee from my father's chin
Can't stop feeling righteous, my battle begins
And I feel inside I'm a picture-perfect country guy
Slipping under me --
And I'm made to feel just like another clown

I feel crazy, I feel lazy, I feel crazy
With no love and no father
A part of me is over, a part of me is over, a part of me is over

And I'm made to feel like a dirty shirt in a dead man's closet

No debating, come to the wall again
I've got to see it, been inside again
I think I'm dead, I'm barely alive
I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

Been inside, been in right
I can't decide, but I'll be alright
Gonna bow down right, bow down safe, I did it safe
It's about my dive, gonna be alright
You're gonna beat my face, do you feel alright
When my skin's all red

No debating, come to the wall again
I've got a feeling, think inside again
I think I'm dead I'm barely alive
I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

You stand before me like a matador waits for the kill

about

Ondine Seattle, Washington

Ondine was my favorite 90s-era Seattle band that *almost* hit it big.

Ondine was: Luca Sacchetti (Vocals), Erik Castro (Guitar), Ray Zozaya (Bass), Jamil Hai and Mark Yeend (Drums).

Luca and Erik were kind enough to allow me to curate and host these albums for free download.

You had to see them live to really "get it", but it's great to make this music available after so long. Enjoy!
