YESTERDAY --------------- How can you say I'm not myself I've been trying so hard Then of course maybe that's because You're Mr. true and faithful Yesterday I saw Yesterday I wallowed I guess you can say I've heard your secrets Yesterday I saw you in the sand I'm dealing with you Dealing with you Sure you can say you've never meant it I guess I've been feeling just the same Yesterday I saw Yesterday I gave you Yesterday I wallowed You might walk you might talk Like the Jesus man made love to Mary Sing me a song Mr. Sweet man lover Sweet man lover, Money's a sin Like a virgin angel sins She keeps pretending It's a fall without a spin It's a crawl without a grin Yesterday I saw I guess you can say I've heard your secrets Yesterday I saw you in the sand I'm dealing with you Dealing with you Sure you can say you've never meant it I guess I've been feeling just the same Yesterday I gave you Yesterday I wallowed You need me, you need me, you need me

DIRTY SHIRT IN A DEAD MAN'S CLOSET ------------------------------------------------ You stand before me like a matador waits for the kill He's dressed in yellow it's the way that he feels standing still My hands are sweaty, I'm feeling unsure with myself I smell my fingers, there's something wrong with the fears And I'm hoping for a peek at serenity A part of me is over A part of me is over If I could kill my heard I know that I would I'd never have to worry about being partially understood And there's this boy he picks himself up off the ground Just to throw himself back And he's made to feel just like another clown I feel crazy, I feel lazy, I feel crazy With no love and no father And I'm made to feel like a dirty shirt in a dead man's closet Can't stop sipping coffee from my father's chin Can't stop feeling righteous, my battle begins And I feel inside I'm a picture-perfect country guy Slipping under me -- And I'm made to feel just like another clown I feel crazy, I feel lazy, I feel crazy With no love and no father A part of me is over, a part of me is over, a part of me is over And I'm made to feel like a dirty shirt in a dead man's closet No debating, come to the wall again I've got to see it, been inside again I think I'm dead, I'm barely alive I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive Been inside, been in right I can't decide, but I'll be alright Gonna bow down right, bow down safe, I did it safe It's about my dive, gonna be alright You're gonna beat my face, do you feel alright When my skin's all red No debating, come to the wall again I've got a feeling, think inside again I think I'm dead I'm barely alive I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive You stand before me like a matador waits for the kill

Scarlet Red 04:48
SCARLET RED ----------------- I'm not sure if you're real You used my words for your own confessions You swallowed my tears Ravaged my years And now I'm buried in the waves Come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, come on, come on, come on Come on, come on, come on, come on Take me Scarlet red, scarlet red, scarlet red Scarlet come on, scarlet come on, scarlet come on I'm awake We played victims of despair And now I'm breathing desolate air Take rivers flowers to the edge He's left her climbing walls instead I'll lick your skin before the sun The preacher's watching gotta run I'm seeing colors in your hair I'm seeing colors in your hair Like dogs of forgiveness Like dogs of forgiveness Scarlet red, scarlet red, scarlet red Scarlet come on, scarlet come on, scarlet come on Like dogs of forgiveness Like dogs like dogs Like dogs of forgiveness I'll die before I let you taste her I'll die before I let you make us She's dying for me, dying for me I'm seeing colors in your hair

Shame 05:14
SHAME --------- You can be my mourning You can be my pride and joy You can be an institution Or you can be some child's broken toy You can be my ripped shoes You can the one abused You can be my last care Or you can be the one who's never there You can be my last crowd You can be the one who's up and down You can be the execution of all this guilt I carry Is it fair? I try not to criticize I'm on the line Try not to criticize And I try not to criticize I'm on the line You branded him with shame and silence Then threw him in the dark to understand You pulled the shades of violence Then stepped outside to wash your assaulting hands I gave you love's attention I gave you what I'm all about You gave me one exception I had to be the way you always have I, I'm feeling shame I try not to criticize I'm on the line Try not to criticize I try not to criticize I'm on the line Shame, shame shame... You can be the one and only You can be the headline story You mean nothing to me You mean nothing to me You can be the shining glory You can be the love adoring A lover I'm not I'm in and I'm out I try not to criticize I'm on the line
5.
UNDER THE TABLE ----------------------- I'm under the table Dealing with failure Without any favors I'll deal with my labor I'm mentally stable That's a serious fable I'll follow the traitor And then deal with it later I've got the fever Paralyzed and eager I don't believe her I feel beneath her And under the Devil's tongue Is where I'll lose myself And into the classroom skies I'll burn and die Ah, how many days And ah, god I gotta be saved from her Ah, I gotta be saved today She's a colorblind painter Does that make her a failure With only one favor Please come and save her Secure and unable I'm not the traitor Won't see you later And under the Devil's tongue Is where I'll lose myself And into the classroom skies I'll burn and die Ah, how many days And oh god, I gotta be saved from her Standing on the roads enticed Patches on his head for eyes It's where, where he goes to fly He's just father in disguise He wants to sit in for my life And under the Devil's tongue Is where I'll lose myself And into the classroom skies I'll burn and die It's where I go to fly

about

Ondine Seattle, Washington

Ondine was my favorite 90s-era Seattle band that *almost* hit it big.

Ondine was: Luca Sacchetti (Vocals), Erik Castro (Guitar), Ray Zozaya (Bass), Jamil Hai and Mark Yeend (Drums).

Luca and Erik were kind enough to allow me to curate and host these albums for free download.

You had to see them live to really "get it", but it's great to make this music available after so long. Enjoy!
